Foreks - BYD, one of China's leading electric vehicle manufacturers, increased its production by approximately 200,000 units from August to October. In a statement on Weibo, Vice President He Zhiqi mentioned that the company has hired nearly 200,000 new employees for automobile production and components. Revenue for the July-September period reached 201.1 billion yuan, marking a 24% year-on-year increase. This period also represented BYD's first significant victory over Tesla in quarterly revenue since the Chinese automaker ceased production of gasoline-powered vehicles in 2022.
