This week, for the German stock market, global risk appetite and especially macroeconomic data from the U.S. will take precedence over internal dynamics. Due to the lack of significant data flow in the Eurozone, the index will position itself according to the impact of the PMI and employment data coming from the U.S. on global markets. Mild data supporting a "soft landing" scenario in the U.S. economy may positively affect the index by increasing global risk appetite. On the other hand, data indicating a sharp slowdown in the economy has the potential to create negative pressure on the export-oriented German index by triggering concerns about a global recession.
