Buffett Continues to Offload Apple Shares

Forex - Billionaire investor Warren Buffett's company Berkshire Hathaway continued to sell Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) shares in the third quarter. Berkshire Hathaway reduced its Apple holdings by approximately 25% in the third quarter, after nearly halving them in the second quarter. Warren Buffett suggested during Berkshire's annual meeting in May that the sales of Apple in the first quarter were partially due to tax considerations and that the tech giant would remain Berkshire Hathaway's largest investment. This still holds true, but Berkshire Hathaway's assets were valued at $174.3 billion at the end of last year and are now worth $69.9 billion, representing a nearly 60% decline. Buffett has not commented on his views regarding Apple since the annual meeting.
