BIST 100 Kicks Off the Day with Gains: Which Stocks Stood Out at Opening?
The BIST 100 started the day with a 0.74% increase at 8,888.51 points.
Following the positive opening of the BIST 100 index, buying continued in the initial trades, with the index moving towards the 8,950 point range with an increase nearing 1%. In yesterday's trading, the BIST 100 closed at 8,863.88 points, down 1.58%. Among the stocks included in the index, 35 gained value while 62 recorded a decline. The daily trading volume of the BIST 100 was 66.38 billion TL, accounting for 71.26% of the total volume.
In the first hour, the banking sector was the biggest gainer, reaching a 1.5% increase. Following that were the information technology and food sectors. The sectors that started the day in negative territory included insurance, tourism, and sports.

- ULKER
- ISCTR
- AKBNK
The stocks that started the day with declines at the BIST 100 included:
- ADEL
- KTLEV
- KLSER
- CIMSA
- MPARK
In the overall Istanbul Stock Exchange, ATATP, SOKE, and ULUUN were among the stocks that recorded the highest increases at the opening. TSGYO, ISKPL, and their shares were the ones that started the day with the most significant declines.
In the domestic foreign exchange market, USD/TRY started the day up 0.2% at the level of 34.32. Euro/TRY experienced a slight decrease of 0.1%, trading at 37.35 TL, while the price of gold per gram rose by 0.4% to 3,034 TL.
In international markets, Asian indices are moving in a seller-dominated manner as they approach closing. In yesterday's trading, declines prevailed in Europe and the US, while US futures were positive in the morning hours. European futures are showing a predominantly downward horizontal movement.
