THY Technics and SunExpress Sign Landing Gear Maintenance Agreements with Component Pool

Foreks - Turkish Airlines (IS:THYAO) Technical Inc., a leader in the global aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) sector, has strengthened its long-standing collaboration with SunExpress, a joint venture of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, by signing two significant agreements.

According to the signed component support agreement, SunExpress will have access to Turkish Airlines Technical Inc.’s extensive component inventory and comprehensive maintenance and repair capabilities for five years. This service will cover both the Boeing 737NG and Boeing 737MAX fleets of SunExpress, ensuring optimal availability of components and minimizing the time aircraft spend on the ground.

The other agreement covers landing gear maintenance, repair operations, and spare parts supply for SunExpress's Boeing 737NG fleet. With these comprehensive agreements, Turkish Airlines Technical Inc. supports SunExpress's operational continuity and fleet readiness, further enhancing SunExpress's ability to provide timely and reliable service to its customers.
