IKMIB Unites the Cosmetics Industry in Denmark

Forex - The Istanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters' Association (IKMIB) organized the "ECRM Copenhagen Cosmetics Sector Trade Delegation" in Copenhagen, Denmark, targeting the cosmetics and cleaning products industry. A total of over 470 one-on-one business meetings were held with the participation of 88 Turkish and foreign companies.

To contribute to the exports of the chemical sector, IKMIB carried out the ECRM Copenhagen Cosmetics Sector Trade Delegation from October 13-16, 2024, focusing on the cosmetics and cleaning products industry. Thirteen companies from the Turkish cosmetics and cleaning products sector participated in the delegation to Denmark.

Throughout the event, Turkish companies showcased branded and private label products such as skincare products, personal care items, soaps, wet wipes, and baby care products for the appreciation of buyers. During the two-day organization, approximately 75 buyer companies from the USA, Denmark, and surrounding countries, including major buyers and retail chains like Watson and Carrefour (EPA:CARR), were involved in 478 one-on-one business meetings.

The delegation, accompanied by IKMIB TIM Delegate Süleyman Özgür Öztürk, was visited by Erdal Karahisar, the Trade Counsellor of the Republic of Türkiye in Denmark, who provided an informational presentation to the participants.
