HolidayBudur Concludes 2024 with a 40% Growth Surge

Foreks - TatilBudur shared its assessments and forecasts regarding the industry at the Antalya Tourism Fair. Mustafa Kemal Çubuk, Deputy General Manager responsible for Sales and Operations, stated that they anticipate a 40% growth based on reservations by the end of 2024. He emphasized that they have realized approximately one-quarter of domestic summer hotel sales through the market share they increase each year. Çubuk indicated that their plans for 2025 involve taking over European operations, highlighting their goal of planning for 80,000 people in this market. TatilBudur also announced the launch of its early reservation campaigns for 2025 at the fair.

As one of the leading brands in the tourism sector, TatilBudur shared developments and evaluations at the Antalya Tourism Fair. Mustafa Kemal Çubuk, Deputy General Manager responsible for Sales and Operations, mentioned that the share of Turkish guests in domestic vacation plans has increased for the 2024 summer season. He noted that foreign tourist reservations, which dominated hotel bookings until August, have been replaced by local tourists. Çubuk pointed out that the lack of expected flow in the foreign market and the advantageous campaigns/pricing for the domestic market played a significant role in this change.

Indicating that their diverse hotel portfolio and exclusive hotel room stock have enabled them to achieve growth above the market average during a period of increased expectations from the domestic market, Çubuk reiterated their forecast of closing 2024 with a 40% growth based on reservations. He stated, "We are the online travel agency with the highest sales in Turkey. We want to further enhance our impact and continue investing in this direction. Starting from 2025, we will actively manage our European operations. While our contracting process for the domestic market continues, we are also working on the foreign market. With our experienced team, we aim to conduct operations for 80,000 people in foreign markets, particularly Europe, next year."

TatilBudur has Initiated the Early Reservation Period

Mustafa Kemal Çubuk remarked that they have launched the early reservation campaigns for the 2025 season alongside the Antalya Tourism Fair, making significant assessments particularly on prices. He shared various data with business partners, including price increases applied throughout the year, consumer reactions to these increases, and the impact of disproportionate pricing with cost rises. Çubuk stated, "We are creating strategies suitable for these analyses. This year, we are also confident about our hotels and the prices we offer. By securing more than the capacity allocated for the domestic market by hotels, we achieve more accurate pricing, and with a precise pricing policy, we attain higher sales success."

The first artificial intelligence influencer in the tourism sector: Yaz Güneş

Barış Nefesoğlu, Deputy General Manager responsible for Marketing, mentioned that they prioritize technology to stand out in the competitive landscape of the sector and provide the best service to their guests. He stated, "We value technology-focused steps to differentiate ourselves in competition and draw attention on a global scale. We started this process by renewing our mobile application and website in 2022, and in 2023, we began to differentiate by prioritizing data-driven actions. Correspondingly, we achieved an online growth of 50% or more every year. Our mobile application users are also increasing at the same pace. 10% of our sales come solely from the mobile application. We will continue strengthening this segment in 2025."

Nefesoğlu revealed that to support their differentiation in the digital world, they have introduced an artificial intelligence brand face for the first time in Turkey’s tourism sector. Nefesoğlu stated, "As TatilBudur, we collected data on what people like based on search results and designed a character through three different artificial intelligence modeling applications. We positioned our influencer named 'Yaz Güneş' as our brand face. We introduced Yaz Güneş for the first time at the Tourism Fair within a fully 3D hologram screen, and we are very excited about this project. We are eagerly awaiting our guests' feedback."
