Donald Trump Rallies Stars at New York Event
Former President Donald Trump concluded his New York Madison Square Garden rally on Sunday with an 80-minute speech condemning his political opponents, attacking immigrants, and vowing to invoke an 18th-century law to facilitate mass deportations.
Among the famous speakers at the rally, which also included Dr. Phil, Hulk Hogan, and Elon Musk, was comedian podcast host Tony Hinchcliffe, who made controversial remarks regarding Puerto Rico in a city that hosts the largest Puerto Rican population on the U.S. mainland. Approximately 500,000 Puerto Ricans also reside in Pennsylvania, where Harris campaigned on Sunday.
In his speech, Tony Hinchcliffe stated, “A lot is happening, I don’t know if you know this, but there is literally a trash island floating in the middle of the ocean right now. I think it’s called Puerto Rico.”
Elon Musk, who joined Donald Trump again on the campaign trail, briefly addressed the economy, specifically taxes in the United States. Musk, the founder of Tesla, mentioned, among others responsible for cutting bureaucracy and the budget in a potential Trump administration, “We will take the government out of your wallet.”
Donald Trump took the stage alongside Melania to the tune of “God Bless the USA” and spoke on several topics, including the economy, immigration, and his opponent Kamala Harris. Trump maintained his tough rhetoric against immigrants, calling for the death penalty for any immigrant who kills a U.S. citizen after discussing crime.
