Iran's Parliament Speaker stated that if Trump attacks Iran, U.S. bases will be targeted.

Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated that if Washington follows through on its warning of military consequences for Iran due to the lack of a new nuclear deal, Tehran will target US bases in the region.

Speaking at an event at Tehran University, Ghalibaf described the letter sent by US President Donald Trump to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as "the letter of a bully." He emphasized, "However, neither can you intimidate the Iranian nation nor deceive it." Earlier this month, Trump warned Khamenei that there are "two ways to deal with Iran: militarily or through an agreement."
