Minister Bolat: "The positive outlook in the Turkish economy continues with a focus on production, investment, employment, and exports."
Trade Minister Ömer Bolat, in a statement made via the X platform, evaluated the increase in the consumer confidence index, noting that positive developments in macroeconomic indicators continue to support the recovery in consumer confidence. He emphasized that the index recorded a significant rise in March.
Bolat stated, "The consumer confidence index showed the largest increase in the last two years, rising by 4.6% to reach 85.9 in March 2025, the highest level in the last 22 months." This increase is directly related to the growing trust in the economy. Analyzing the index, improvements were observed in 14 out of 18 sub-indices on a monthly basis, indicating that consumer confidence in the economy has turned positive in various dimensions. This positive shift in consumer confidence also reflects favorably on economic indicators.
