Which stocks gained the most on Borsa Istanbul today?

The BIST 100 index moved positively throughout the day. It started the day with a half-point increase and faced resistance around the 10,500 point mark for a short period. With an increase in buying volume, the index rose to 10,620 points during the day. As the final hour approached, the BIST 100 was at the 10,600 point level with an approximate value increase of 1.6%. Meanwhile, the BIST 30 index rose by about 1.8%, while the increase in the non-BIST 100 index was limited to around 0.2%.

In Borsa Istanbul, the most sought-after sectors today included banking, communication, and holding companies. On the downside, factoring, technology, and electricity sectors lagged. The top five gaining stocks in the BIST 100 today were GARAN, YKBNK, CVKMD, AGHOL, and TKFEN, while the biggest losers included SDTTR, REEDR, BERA, YEOTK, and ALTNY. Among all stocks, ETILR, KERVN, and TRCAS reached their ceiling prices, while GEDZA, ADEL, and ISBIR dropped to their floor prices. Towards the close, ISCTR, YKBNK, and THYAO had gains of 2%, 5%, and 1%, respectively. In the domestic currency market, by the evening hours, the dollar/TL was stable at 39.59, the euro/TL decreased by 0.3% to 39.84, and the gram gold was at 3,431 TL. Internationally, Asian indices moved with a selling bias, while European markets showed a buying trend. U.S. indices opened higher following lower-than-expected CPI data.
