Foreign Affairs: Sanctions and a Specific Arms Embargo Against Israel Should Be Enforced

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, "Ongoing attacks indicate that sanctions, particularly an arms embargo, should be imposed on Israel." The statement included, "We strongly condemn the airstrike conducted by Israel on a hospital in the Beit Lahiya area of northern Gaza, which resulted in the slaughter of dozens of Palestinians, mostly women and children." The statement further emphasized, "These ongoing attacks demonstrate the necessity of imposing sanctions and particularly an arms embargo on Israel. We reiterate that those who support the genocidal Israeli government are complicit in these crimes."
