White House Envoy Hochstein to Visit Beirut Tomorrow

A senior Lebanese official stated that White House envoy Amos Hochstein will visit Lebanon on Tuesday to conduct ceasefire talks between Israel and Hezbollah. The official noted that Beirut has a positive outlook on Washington's efforts to end the war but seeks changes regarding how the ceasefire will be monitored. Hochstein's visit is expected to build on the ceasefire proposal that the U.S. presented to Lebanon last week.
