MARKET OVERVIEW - The US Dollar May Decline After Recent Gains

In a note, Swissquote analyst Ipek Ozkardeskaya stated that the dollar and U.S. Treasury yields could decline following recent gains after the U.S. presidential election. Ozkardeskaya mentioned, "EUR/USD may recover from the 'oversold zone', and USD/JPY may face resistance around 155.000. However, any decline will be limited." She also expressed that the risk of inflation being stoked by the policies of elected President Donald Trump should limit the potential for major currencies to gain value against the dollar.
