Service Production Index Rose by 0.3% Month-on-Month in September, Year-on-Year Remains Unchanged

Forex - The service production index (2021=100) remained the same in September 2024 compared to the same month of the previous year. In the same month, transportation and storage services decreased by 3.2%, accommodation and food services increased by 0.9%, information and communication services increased by 1.2%, real estate services increased by 18.8%, professional, scientific and technical services increased by 1.0%, while administrative and support services decreased by 0.7%.

According to the statement made by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), the service production index increased by 0.3% month-on-month.
The service production index (2021=100) increased by 0.3% in September 2024 compared to the previous month. In the same month, transportation and storage services increased by 1.0%, accommodation and food services increased by 0.2%, information and communication services decreased by 2.3%, real estate services decreased by 2.0%, professional, scientific and technical services increased by 2.0%, while administrative and support services decreased by 0.3%.
