China's Aluminum Imports Dropped 8.7% Year-on-Year in October

In October, China's imports of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products fell by 8.7% year-on-year to 320,000 tons. According to the General Administration of Customs, imports in the first ten months of this year reached 3.17 million tons, representing a 32.4% increase compared to the previous year. The data includes primary metal and unwrought, alloyed aluminum. Bauxite imports, a key raw material for aluminum, increased by 11% in October, reaching 12.29 million tons. In the first ten months of the year, imports rose by 11.9% to 131.56 million tons.
