Codelco's Copper Production in Chile Rises in September
Forexl - The Chilean Copper Commission (Cochilco) announced that the production of Chile's state-owned copper giant increased by 5.2% year-on-year in September, reaching a total of 123,100 tons. Production at BHP's Escondida mine, the world's largest copper mine, fell by 5.4% to 101,500 tons, while production at Collahuasi, jointly operated by Glencore and Anglo American, rose by 14% to 51,400 tons.
