Number of Charging Points Reached 23,377 in September with a 4.0% Increase
In September, the total number of charging points (sockets) in Turkey reached 23,377, marking a 4.0% increase compared to the previous month. The number of sockets at the end of August was 22,485.
The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (EPDK) published the "Monthly Statistics for Charging Services Market" report for September.
According to the report, the increase is 152.9% compared to 9,242 units in September of the previous year.
The number of electric vehicles rose from 138,429 at the end of August to 146,965 by the end of September.
The number of AC charging points increased from 14,226 to 14,543, while the number of DC charging points rose from 8,259 to 8,834.
