Which Stocks Gained the Most on Borsa Istanbul Today?

The BIST 100 index exhibited a predominantly downward horizontal trend today.

After starting the day in positive territory, the BIST 100 fluctuated between 8,570 and 8,729 points during the morning session, eventually stabilizing around an average of 8,630 points. The index continued its movement around the 8,630 point level with a decline of 0.3% as it approached the closing. While the BIST 30 stocks remained flat in the last hour, the decline in the index excluding BIST 100 was more limited.

In Borsa Istanbul, the sectors that performed the best today were paper, metal, and technology, each recording a value increase of around 1%. Conversely, food, IT, and communication were the sectors that saw the most decline by the end of the day. Banks, which experienced heavy losses yesterday, continued their downward trend today, sustaining a drop slightly above 1%.

Conversely, the five stocks that declined the most in BIST 100 were: REEDR CCOLA AGROT TTKOM OYAKC

When looking at the overall Borsa Istanbul, KRGYO, BAKAB, and KAPLM emerged as the top gainers by the end of the day. TSGYO and DIRIT, along with REEDR, were among the stocks that reported the most losses.

In the domestic foreign exchange markets, the dollar/TL remained flat at 34.34, while the euro/TL saw a 0.3% increase, trading at 37.50. The gram gold also rose today by 0.3%, reaching a level of 3,030 TL.

In international markets, U.S. indices started the day in positive territory. European indices, however, continued to display mixed trends as the day progressed.
