Training Agreement Between Turkey and Palestine Published in the Official Gazette
A decision regarding the "Approval of the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Law Enforcement Training between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the State of Palestine," signed in Ramallah, Palestine on May 24, 2022, was published in the Official Gazette.
The parties will conduct a "training needs analysis" to determine their training requirements and will organize mutual training programs based on this analysis. Additionally, the parties will plan courses one year in advance and provide training accordingly.
Since the language of instruction is Turkish, accepted students will undergo a Turkish language proficiency test. For those who do not pass, an average of one year of Turkish language training will be arranged.
The coordination role in implementing the memorandum has been assigned to the Interior Ministries of Turkey and Palestine.
