BIST 100 Kicks Off the Day with Gains: Which Stocks Stepped into the Spotlight at Opening?

The BIST 100 index started the day with an increase of 0.58% at 9,354.28 points.

The BIST 100 index closed yesterday's trading session with an increase of 0.80% at 9,300.30 points. During the day, the index fell to a low of 9,128.63 and reached a high of 9,415.77 points. Today, as initial trades continued to rise, the BIST stepped back into the 9,400-point range.

Yesterday, the BIST 100 recorded a trading volume of 109.14 billion TL, accounting for 79% of the total volume. In the index, 51 stocks rose while 46 stocks lost value.

In the overall Borsa Istanbul, IHLAS, EUHOL, and KRTEK were the fastest rising stocks at the opening. Conversely, ARTMS, NTHOL, and DMSAS were the stocks that declined the most in initial trades.

In the domestic foreign exchange market, the dollar/TL remained flat at 34.37 in the morning, while the euro/TL is traded at 36.33. The gram gold price decreased by 0.7%, retreating to 2,823 TL.

In international markets, Asian indices are generally preparing to close lower for the day. During yesterday's trading, European indices exhibited a selling trend while US indices showed mixed signals. In the morning, US futures moved lower while European futures displayed an uncertain outlook.
