Russia is Considering Lifting the Gasoline Export Ban

Forex - Russian Energy Minister Sergei Tsivilev stated in an interview with reporters that the Russian Ministry of Energy believes it may be possible to lift the gasoline export ban due to stable prices in the domestic market, and has presented relevant proposals to the government. Tsivilev said, "The Ministry of Energy has prepared its proposals regarding the lifting of the gasoline export ban and submitted them to the government for evaluation. We will now lift the export restrictions, as prices are stable, and the situation in the market is stable, which allows us to remove the restrictions – these were put in place to balance prices in the domestic market."
